Your Gateway to the Uzbek Community in Czechia

Empowering students through networking, educational meetups, and cultural events.

Connect, collaborate, and thrive together.

About us

The Uzbekistan Students Association in the Czech Republic is a new community, created to connect students and young people from Uzbekistan living and studying in the Czech Republic.

We aim to build a space for communication, mutual support, cultural exchange, and collaboration.

Our mission is to unite Uzbek youth abroad, help newcomers adapt faster, and strengthen ties within the diaspora.

Through educational meetups, cultural events, and networking activities, the Association provides opportunities to learn, share experiences, celebrate national traditions, and build meaningful connections.

This platform is designed to empower students, encourage active participation, and support a strong, united community in the Czech Republic.

About the Event

On 18 December 2025, a ceremonial event marking the 33rd anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in Prague, during which the Uzbekistan Students Association in the Czech Republic (UzSA-CZ) was officially established.

The Association has been created as a non-profit and non-governmental organisation with the primary goal of uniting Uzbek students studying at higher education institutions across the Czech Republic. Its mission is to support students’ academic and social integration, foster mutual assistance, promote educational and cultural initiatives, and contribute to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the peoples of Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic.

The establishment of the Association was initiated with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Czech Republic, reflecting a shared commitment to engaging and empowering Uzbek youth abroad, as well as encouraging their active participation in academic, cultural, and public life.

The event brought together Uzbek students studying in the Czech Republic, as well as compatriots engaged in various professional fields. Among the distinguished guests were Dr. Jaroslav Halík, Member of the Advisory Board of Prague Metropolitan University; Vojtěch Sýs, representative of the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague; Barbora Jordanová, Project Manager, IVP, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU); Sanjar Khodjayev, Co-founder of DON’s Kebab and DON’s Pizza; and Daler Kamilovich, Founder of StartStudy and representative of UzSA-CZ.

Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan also attended the event, including Sardorbek Akhmedov, Chargé d’Affaires; Bobur Bakhridinov, Counsellor; Dilshod Sobirov, Consul.

Significant organisational and sponsorship support for the event was provided by StartStudy, Translation and Nostrification Bureau (TNB), CzechPoint Visa and Consulting Center, DON’s Company, Prague Metropolitan University, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, Charles University, and the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague.

The ceremony began with the performance of the national anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan, followed by congratulatory remarks from representatives of the Uzbek Embassy. In their speeches, they highlighted the importance of Constitution Day and officially announced the establishment of the Uzbekistan Students Association in the Czech Republic. The speakers outlined the Association’s key objectives and priority areas for its future activities, emphasising its role in supporting students and strengthening cultural and academic ties.

At the conclusion of the event, students who actively participated were presented with commemorative gifts provided by the sponsors, marking the beginning of a new platform for unity, cooperation, and development among Uzbek students in the Czech Republic.
